abbiotec offers over 10,000 lysates from 293 cells transfected with a plasmid coding for one of the 25,000 proteins from the human genome. The lysate is prepared from hek293t cells transiently transfected with a trueorf gene-carrying pcmv plasmid (origene technologies, inc. ) and then lysed in ripa buffer. The human full-length protein carries a c-terminal myc/ddk tag for detection. The tacl™ product line is used as a positive control in western blot and immunoprecipitation, an elisa standard and for reverse protein arrays. Each product includes a vector-only transfection lysate as negative control.
