The new JET AFS-400 Air Filtration unit can either be hung from the ceiling by four hooks to save shop space or be used as benchtop. This little powerhouse cleans and circulates air in a 20’ x 20’ x 8’ shop, 7 cycles per hour to provide you with a cleaner, healthier shop environment. Three speeds 260, 362, and 409 CFM allow you to choose the most efficient air filtration for your shop. The remote control with built-in timer settings for 1, 2 and 4 hours will shut off automatically at the end of the designated time, cleaning the air in your shop even while you are away.

The Jet DC-850 portable hood can become a powerful and efficient alternative to a construction vacuum cleaner or, on the contrary, replace a stationary hood of a standard design where there is not enough space for it.

The hose is connected to a 100 mm nozzle through which even large shavings from planing machines can easily pass through, sawdust and grinding dust are all the more not a problem. The accumulator is a 55-liter bag made of dense filtering cloth. The snail and the impeller are the same as for stationary installations and are made of steel; the drive is made from a powerful asynchronous motor. In comparison with collector motors (used in all construction vacuum cleaners and in some DC-850 analogs from other manufacturers), asynchronous motors are much less noisy, an order of magnitude more durable, do not require maintenance, and are suitable for long-term operation without interruptions for cooling.

 

The exhaust unit is mounted on a platform with wheels and has a convenient carrying handle. There is also the option of hanging on the wall, for which there are special brackets.
