JET JSS-16A Scroll Saw amateur machine for cutting out complex radii in not too large pieces of wood, chipboard, fiberboard, plywood or plastic. The model is an improved modification of the well-known Jet JSS-16 jig saw and has a number of interesting design features that distinguish it favorably from other brands. First of all, it is versatility with respect to the used canvases: you can install files with or without pin fastening. It is important to note the convenient upper location of the web tension lever. A new improvement in the design is the ability to change the orientation of the cutting plane: along or across the longitudinal axis of the machine, depending on how comfortable or familiar the operator is. An electronic system of smooth adjustment of the frequency of strokes is provided, which allows you to accurately select the speed. This is important both from the point of view of compliance with the thermal cutting conditions, and from the point of view of dealing with vibrations. For sawing at an angle to the surface, a tilting mechanism of the working table is provided, equipped with a protractor scale and a stopper on the front side. To remove sawdust from the cut line, there is an adjustable nozzle for blowing off sawdust and a 35 mm fitting for connecting to a dust extraction system.
