JWL-1220L is a solid amateur-grade lathe with a cast iron bed. The height of the spindle allows turning on it workpieces with a diameter of about 300 mm in the case of mounting on a faceplate and up to 230 mm when working on the support. The center-to-center distance can be increased from the standard 510 mm to one meter by installing a bed extension (supplied as an option).

Jet JWL-1015 is a new model of a compact class professional lathe, which is an evolution of the well-proven JML-1014 model. All units and parts have undergone improvement: the bed, headstock and tailstock are made more massive and stiffer, reinforced bearings are installed on the spindle, design and ergonomics are better developed.

The machine is equipped with an asynchronous motor that operates at a constant speed (1400 rpm). To select the spindle speed, the position of the poly V-belt is changed (six pairs of pulleys are provided). This operation takes a minimum of time and is performed without the use of auxiliary tools.

The JWL-1421VS is a compact large diameter lathe based on the JWL-1221VS. With similar dimensions, it can handle parts up to 14 inches in diameter: bowls, dishes, plates and other items, for the manufacture of which a large base length is not needed.

The machine belongs to the new professional Jet line and combines modern control electronics with an improved mechanical part. It has significantly increased rigidity: in comparison with analogs of the previous series, the bed has become wider, and the total weight has increased by 10 kg; more powerful spindle bearings are used.

The speed of rotation can be adjusted using the built-in electronics, while the selected value is shown on the digital display. There is also a reverse switch on the control panel, which is indispensable for some types of work, for example, when grinding.

The transmission of rotation from the engine to the spindle is carried out by a 6-groove poly-V-belt; three pairs of pulleys are provided to select the power range of the transmission. The belt is rearranged without the use of an auxiliary tool: the ratchet lever is responsible for the tension.

The eccentric bracing and tailstock attachment systems make adjustments just as easy and quick. There is a dividing device with a spring-loaded spindle fixing pin, which also simplifies mounting / dismounting on the faceplate spindle (this requires only one key).

Extensions can be purchased for the machine bed and stand, in this case the maximum center-to-center distance will increase to 1010 mm.
