This is a comprehensive certification course which covers all the essential aspects of the Occupational First Aid requirements. It is designed for providing a quality learning experience, offering practical knowledge which builds confidence in first aiders to perform the relevant actions and techniques in a real life situation.

On completion of this course, the deligates will:

Be able to do a primary survey on a potential casualty.

Know how to take vitals (pulse, breathing, etc) signs.

Learn how to deal with blood injuries.

Know how to recognise the different types of wounds and know how to treat them.

Learn how to treat shock and how to do the recovery position.

Be able to treat patients who have fractured (broken) bones as well as deal effectively with casualties who have sprains, strains and dislocations.

Learn how to treat major and minor burns as well as the many different causes of burns.

Treat a patient who has been electrocuted.
