All You Need To Know About Neet Exam 2018
NEET-UG is an Entrance Exam for the undergraduate programmes to get admission for MBBS & BDS and other allied medical courses. In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for a particular academic year, it is necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test’ to be held on 6th May 2018. All Medical College and Dental College in India except AIIMS and JIPMER will provide admission through NEET 2018 rank only.

Who can apply for NEET?

Any student who has completed his 12th standard can apply. He/She must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the required age on or before Dec 31 of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. The upper age limit for the exam is 25 years on the exam date. A relaxation of 5 years for aspirants belonging to OBC/SC/ST category will be given.

How to apply for NEET?

The applications form will be submitted in online mode on the official website at cbseneet.nic.in. Candidates should have the following documents for applying NEET 2018 such as photographs, digital signatures, fee payment etc.

NEET UG EXAM PATTERN 2018

The exam will be conducted in a pen and paper based format. Candidates will have to mark their answers in OMR answer sheet provided using a ballpoint pen. Pen will be provided to candidates inside the examination hall. It is an three hour long consisting of 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The exam will be held in 8 languages including – English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada.
