• Adjustable force control (Patent applied):The electrode force plays a major role in determining the size and depth of weld nugget as contact resistance between the sheet metals is a sensitive function of the force. To control this force, our machine provides a rotatable pin at the top through which maximum spring force for compression can be set as required by the user. Depending upon the setting of maximum permissible compression, the force at which high current starts flowing through the work piece can be set and this force remains constant throughout the welding time. The machine has the mechanism such that the electric current initiates only after the electrode force reaches the set maximum value (i.e. when leg operated liver reaches its downward limit). A patent is already applied in India for this innovative technology for force control.


• Robust and low maintenance:Our spot-welding machine is designed for durability and low operational cost as it doesn’t need a convectional pneumatic or hydraulic control.


• Adjustable time (or energy) Control:Our machine provides for control of welding time during which high current passes through the sheet metals. The time can be controlled from 0 to 500 ms. As the energy transferred during a welding event is given by W = I2 R t, energy transferred can be controlled by adjusting time “t”.


• Air-Cooled Components:The machine designed operate under natural air cooling up-to environment temperature of 45 °C. Thus, difficulty of arranging water or forced air cooling is avoided in our system.


• Free transportation trolley:A trolley is provided free of cost for transportation of the machine from one place to another in the work area.
