Acrylic Elastomeric Waterproof Exterior Coating (Complies with ASTM C-836/89 A), Single component 100% pure Acrylic Elastomeric Waterproof Exterior coating, which is designed as membrane coating to improve the elongation properties to bridge the existing and future cracks over a wide temperature range. It is a self-cured component application which forms an impervious, tough, hard and abrasion resistant coating. It has exceptional strength and inflammability that prevent peeling, fungus and algae growth. It acts as both waterproof and weather durable coating. It remains unaffected by Salt water, Soap Water, Mild Acids and Alkalies. Based on special Acrylic Polymers, it is ideal for dry substrate where it forms a seamless, joint free, water and weather tight elastic membrane. Rainseal is suitable for applications to most types of roofs – flat or pitched e.g Concrete, GI Sheets, Metal, Asbestos, wood etc.
As it forms a white Colour membrane, there is a direct temperature reduction of upto 4C.

Application : Rainseal is applied using Soft Brush or Rollers or Spray guns. It's a 4-layer process. First layer is Primer (diluted Rainseal), Second layer is first coating of Rainseal, third layer is Geotextile membrane for reinforcement and fourth layer is Rainseal second coating. 2-3 hours needed to dry each of the layers. Allow the entire coating to cure for 3 days before allowing the movements on it or before testing with water for leakage. The final thickness to be achieved depends on the requirements of the individual roof. However, our recommended final thickness is between 0.5 and 1.0 mm.
