Loctite® Zinc Anti-Seize (formerly C-638) is a smooth, homogenous mixture of zinc dust and petrolatum. It prevents seizing during assembly or disassembly of threaded or unthreaded metal joints--particuarly if these metal joints involve aluminum or aluminum alloys. Zinc Anti-Seize also provides corrosion protection for both aluminum and ferrous metal (iron Base) components. Within a metal threaded connection, it acts like an “internal galvanize” using the electrochemical properties of the zinc dust to protect iron surfaces.

Loctite® Marine Grade Anti-Seize is a metal-free formulation to protect assemblies exposed directly or indirectly to fresh and salt water, Loctite Marine Grade Anti-Seize works especially well in high humidity conditions. It has excellent lubricity, superior water wash-out and water spray resistance, and prevents galvanic corrosion. Protects in temperatures from -20°F to 2400°F (-29°C to 1315C).

Loctite® Silver Grade Anti-Seize. Heavy duty, temperature resistant, pertroleum-based lubricant compound fortified with graphite and metallic flake. Inert, will not evaporate or harden in extreme cold or heat. For use in assemblies to 1600°F (871°C).

Loctite® Nickel Anti-Seize is copper free. Recommended for stainless steel and other metal fittings. For preventing corrosion, seizing, and galling in harsh, chemical environments, and temperatures to 2400°F (1315°C).


 

Heavy Duty Anti-Seize is a graphite/calcium fluoride formulation, which is free from lead, copper, sulfur, and their compounds. LOCTITE® Heavy Duty Anti-Seize contains no free metals and is compatible with stainless steel and othernickel alloys. Typical applications of this product includes bolts,screws, studs, pipe joints, nuts, plugs, bushings, extruding and forming dies, heat exchangers, shear blades, metal bending, mechanical packings, etc. It is used in chemical plants, oil refineries, power plants, paper mills, steel mills and foundries,  synthetic fiber plants, ship and aerospace manufacturing and service, etc. This product  is  typically  used in applications  with  an  operating  range  of   -29 °C to +1315 °C.
