BAGFILTER SYSTEMS
A baghouse, also known as a baghouse filter, bag filter, or fabric filter is an air pollution control device and dust collector that removes particulates or gas released from commercial processes out of the air. Power plants, steel mills, pharmaceutical producers, food manufacturers, chemical producers and other industrial companies often use baghouses to control emission of air pollutants. Baghouses came into widespread use in the late 1970s after the invention of high-temperature fabrics (for use in the filter media) capable of withstanding temperatures over 350 °F (177 °C).
The dust collection system also known as air pollution control devices, or dust extraction systems, is an air quality improvement system and as a dust collector manufacturer we know that these de-dusting and fume extraction systems are installed to capture fugitive fumes and dust emitted in furnaces, during various processes, and during handling of materials. Shaker bag houses use mechanical shaking or vibrating actions to dislodge the filter cake. Bag bottoms are secured toa plate and their tops are connected to horizontal beams. These beams, driven manually or by a motor, vibrate toproduce waves in the bags which shake off particulate matter.
