Network solution description
- One e1 dedicated for management purpose has to travel through 31 remote stations
- Loop e-1500-2s-e1-rt will be placed at each remote station for management purpose.
- At each remote station where “the device to be managed” is placed, only one ts from the e1
- Will be dropped on the eth interface (supporting routing features) of e-1500-2s.
- The remaining time slots of the e1 reaches to the next rsu and drops one ts again through e-1500-2s.
- Time slot distribution will be like…
- Location#1..Ts#1,location#2….Ts#2,location#3…ts#3,………..Location#31…ts#31.
- At the central site loop am3440 will be configured for 31xwan ports for point to point connectivity to carry management traffic.
- Different ip subnets could be defined for all the different locations as point to point network with the central site.
- 32 such e1 can be terminated at the central location loop am3440.

AM 3440 with Quad E1 Cards. Single E1 card supports 4E1. 3440 chassis can take 12 such cards thereby providing 48 E1s thereby providing protection for 16 E1s. Two such cards are required for 32:32 protection.
