The system can travel with the product through the complete heating cycle, monitoring actual product temperatures. The information obtained can then be used to assist with the process set up trouble shooting and to optimize the operation of the process, potentially increasing throughput and reducing energy costs, whilst maintaining product quality.

The system includes a high temperature operating data logger, a thermal barrier (or “hot box”) to protect the logger from the ambient temperature as it travels through the oven, thermocouples and easy-to-use analysis software, enabling the user to quick produce comprehensive reports in a clear and concise format.

In addition to supplying complete systems, Phoenix TM has developed a unique range of thermocouples specifically for the finishing industry, which enables users to replace sensors rather than the complete assembly. This dramatically reduces the cost of replacing thermocouples when the cable is worn or damaged.

PhoenixTM probes are compatible with most profiling systems, which means that savings on consumables are available to users of other profiling systems and not just those that are using a PhoenixTM system.
