Namiex Chemicals was incorporated in 1974 as Nayar Mineral Exports. Initially, the company started its operations in 1975 with manufacture of diosgenin and was supplying to multinationals like Ciba-Geigy, Wyeth Lab, Infar (Organon) etc. The production facility of the company is ideally located in the lap of Shivalik hills to tap the Himalayan based raw material. We specialize in extraction and further isolation of the required phyto-chemicals.
The present management took over the company in 1989 and renamed it Namiex Chemicals Private Limited. The company is specifically working on extraction, isolation and purification of therapeutic phytochemical. A number of new products like Silymarin, Bergamottin etc. are being worked upon. Newly developed products like Bergapten have been introduced.
Since a few years the company has focused on production of Himalayan Cedar wood oil and its derivatives.
