Description: Moxis D is a sterile ophthalmic solution formulated with a dual-action approach: it combines the broad-spectrum antibacterial properties of Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride with the potent anti-inflammatory effects of Dexamethasone. This combination is designed to both combat bacterial ocular infections and alleviate associated inflammatory responses. It is ideal for treating conditions such as bacterial conjunctivitis, postoperative inflammation, and other ocular disorders where infection and inflammation coexist.
Moxifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that targets and disrupts bacterial DNA replication, ensuring effective eradication of a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid, works by suppressing the inflammatory process, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and discomfort.

Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride USP – 0.5% w/v
Dexamethasone USP – 0.1% w/v
Sterile ophthalmic base – Q.S.
Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride IP (if applicable)
