Victoza 6 mg/mL (Liraglutide Injection) is a once-daily subcutaneous injection used alongside diet and exercise to manage type 2 diabetes in adults (and children ≥10 years). It works by activating GLP‑1 receptors to boost insulin release, suppress glucagon, slow digestion, lower blood sugar, and reduce cardiovascular risks . Initial dose is 0.6 mg daily for one week, then usually increased to 1.2 mg, and up to a maximum of 1.8 mg, depending on blood glucose control.
