A-Ret 0.1% Gel is a prescription-strength topical retinoid used primarily to treat acne by clearing clogged pores, regulating oil production, and increasing skin cell turnover. Beyond its use for acne, it is also effective in reducing the appearance of fine wrinkles, smoothing rough facial skin, and fading dark spots caused by sun damage by boosting collagen production. However, due to its potency, it often causes initial skin irritation, redness, and dryness, and makes the skin more sensitive to sunlight.
