Rathindra Bose is a Chartered Accountant by profession but emotionally he's a born traveler.
After visiting more than twenty two states in India and then taking in over fifteen countries across the globe, he finally found his paradise in Palolem in 2006. Bose stayed on the beach for four days and become a lover of Palolem for a lifetime.
And so Bose set out on what was to become a labor of love in Palolem and over the next four years or so saw his immense energy and his extraordinary vision bear fruit. The idea of The Palolem Green Inn came from a realization that there was a shortage of accommodation away from the beach area in the more shaded and peaceful glades which look on to the mountainous Ghats. Bose could see the need for a place where creative people, artists, writers, painters and thinkers, would come to find peace of mind in the midst of nature and enjoy a holiday which would truly inspire them.
In the Davabag valley Bose found everything he wanted. Just a short walk away from the vibrant blue sea and golden sands of Palolem beach, was a lush green paddy stretching out into the arms of the distant mountains, bordered by babbling brooks and towering palms. Now Bose has finally completed his dream guest house which is not so much a business but more a place which he can share with people from all over the world who want to come and enjoy the true essence and beauty of Goa. Welcome to The Palolem Green Inn!!
