Artemether & Lumefantrine Tablets 80/480

Each uncoated tablet contains:
Artemether ................... 80 mg
Lumefantrine .............. 480 mg
Excipients: Sodium starch glycolate, Magnesium stearate, hydroxypropylmethyl-cellulose, maize starch

Indications:- It is indicated for: treatment, including stand-by emergency treatment of adults and children with acute,uncomplicated infection due to plasmodium falciparum or mixed infections including P. Falciparum. Because it is effective against both drug
- sensitive and drug-resistant P. Falciparum. It is also recommended for malaria infection acquired in areas where the parasites may be resistant to other antimalarials.

Dose and administration:Tablet is for adult. It is to be swallowed at meal times according to a 3 days treatment, twice a day Day 1: one tablet then another one 8 hours laterDay 2 and Day 3: 1 tablet in the morning and one in the evening, perfectly at the same time For children less than 13 years old or whose body weight is less than 34 kg, it is relevant to use appropriate suspension form.
