RPM Abrasive started production with the sole aim of catering to the super finishing demands of the bearing industry in India under brand Rapio. A bold step considering the fact that the industry was using only imported super finishing stones back then. Till date super finishing products are the core strength of the company and RPM Abrasive is regarded as the pioneer in this niche segment.
To further establish itself in the bearing industry the company developed special track & bore grinding wheels. Today RPM Abrasive stands as one among the few manufacturers to making products starting from grit 24 to grit 110 in resinoid bonded grinding wheels and cutting wheels manufacturers.
The company has specialized in resinoid bonded and grinding wheels & cutting wheels and second is the vitrified bond for special applications like tool room grinding wheels. The wide variety of bonds developed enabled us to customize the product and hence provide a superior one.
