Bhallataka Lavana is a classical medicine described by Acharya Charaka in Charak Samhita. Each 500mg tablet contains 25mg Bhallataka Lavana and 400mg Triphala Powder (Guthali Rahit). Bhallataka Lavana is used to treat Vataja & Kaphaja Pratishyaya (allergic rhinitis), Amvat (Rheumatoid arthritis), Kaphaja Pandu (hypothyroidism), Kaphaja Hrudroga (CAD) & likewise diseases where Srotorodhapradhan Samprapti is dominant. It should be cautiously used in all types of Pitta Vikara & Pitta Prakruti patients and hence it should always be taken under the supervision of your Ayurvedic physician.
