Capital Markets Advisory Service

KKR’s Capital Markets business supports our firm, our portfolio companies, and our clients by providing tailored capital markets advice and developing and implementing both traditional and nontraditional capital solutions for investments and companies seeking financing. Our capital markets services include arranging debt and equity financing for transactions, placing and underwriting securities offerings, structuring new investment products, and providing capital markets advice and services. To allow us to carry out these activities, we are registered or authorized to carry out certain broker-dealer activities in various countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Our Principal Activities business was formed as a result of our combination with KKR Private Equity Investors L.P. KKR and its executives have invested in, or committed to, our own private equity funds and portfolio companies.

This balance sheet capital is an extraordinary asset and provides us with significant permanent capital to invest behind KKR’s future growth. We are our own largest investor and, since we are also committing a portion of that capital to all of our new strategies, our interests are aligned with our partners in the strongest way possible as we build KKR for the future.
