Novixim 500 contains Cefuroxime 500mg and is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, blood, and lungs (pneumonia). It is also used to prevent infections after surgery. Cefuroxime is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.Novixim 500 में Cefuroxime 500mg होता है और इसका उपयोग जीवाणु संक्रमण के उपचार में किया जाता है। इसका उपयोग मूत्र पथ, त्वचा और कोमल ऊतकों, रक्त और फेफड़ों (निमोनिया) के जीवाणु संक्रमण के उपचार के लिए किया जाता है। सर्जरी के बाद संक्रमण को रोकने के लिए भी इसका उपयोग किया जाता है। सेफ्यूरोक्साइम एक एंटीबायोटिक है। यह जीवाणुओं को जीवित रहने के लिए आवश्यक जीवाणु सुरक्षात्मक आवरण (कोशिका दीवार) बनाने से रोककर उन्हें मारता है।
