CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION contains Clindamycin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat serious bacterial infections in adults and adolescents above 12 years of age. Bacterial infection occurs when bacteria enter the body, increasing in number and causing a reaction in the body. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting and swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere.
Before receiving CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have or ever had impaired kidney and liver function, gastrointestinal diseases (colon inflammation) or problems with muscle function (Parkinson's disease, myasthenia gravis). CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before receiving.
CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION is generally not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION should be used with caution in elderly patients above 60 years of age. The most common side effects of receiving CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION are nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, blood abnormalities and skin rashes. Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.

HOW CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION WORKS
CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION acts against the bacteria by binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome (site of protein synthesis). Which in turn prevents protein synthesis and kills the infection-causing bacteria.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
CLAMIN 600MG INJECTION will be administered to you only by a doctor or a nurse into your vein (intravenous infusion with a drip). Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
