Product Description:
The Cleveland Flash and Fire Point Apparatus is a laboratory instrument designed to determine the flash point and fire point of petroleum products and lubricants with flash points above 79°C (175°F). It uses the open cup method, where the sample is gradually heated and exposed to an ignition source at specific intervals.
This apparatus is essential for assessing the flammability and fire hazard of oils, fuels, and other volatile materials. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, automotive, and industrial laboratories and complies with international testing standards such as ASTM D92, IP 36, and IS: 1448 (Part 69).
The setup includes a brass test cup, heating unit, thermometer clip, flame exposure mechanism, and a metallic air bath. Both manual and electrically operated versions are available.
