Choosing a location-site needs thorough knowledge on the topography, about the client's organisation, profile, product line, their customer base and their locations, proximity to raw material sourcing, road-rail network, volume and mode of logistics for raw material procurement and for delivering the finished goods, deliverable commitment with their customers such as Just in Time delivery, availability of technical manpower, constraints on existing employees’ re-location, employees’ transportation cost and duration of travel, industrial ecosystem, local socio-political environment, labour issues if any reported in a region, client's’ budget allocation, comparison between cost of leasing and buying, future scalability, feasibility in obtaining all statutory approvals for their operations, sourcing/drawing electricity etc.
