Competency Mapping

Competency Mapping is a process of identifying key competencies for an organization and/or a job and incorporating those competencies throughout the various processes (i.e. job evaluation, training, recruitment) of the organization.
A 'competency framework' is a structure that sets out and defines each individualcompetency (such as problem-solving or people management) required by individuals working in an organisation or part of an organisation.
