The PolySpek-Neo with improved accuracy and precision is very much suitable for the exacting requirements of the multi base applications needed for your industry. The PolySpek-Neo Spectrometer has advanced features like automatic profiling, argon saver mode etc and very operator friendly.The PolySpek-Neo Spectrometer has multiple Gratings and multiple CCD arrays providing over 4 lakh ipixel resolution and enhancing the accuracy and repeatability of results obtained. PolySpek-Neo is preferred for applications requiring analysis of Nitrogen in duplex steels etc.

PolySpek Neo the new multi-CCD, multi-optic desktop spectrometers from Nesara Instruments & Services, the originators of CCD based metals analysis.Over twenty-five years of CCD-OES know-how has gone into the design of the new PolySpek Neo desktop spectrometers from Nesara Instruments & Services. Up to four separate optical systems can be incorporated to cover the emission spectrum required for metallurgical work which conventionally lies between 130 and 680 nanometers. Particular combinations of the optical systems are available for specific single matrix or multi-matrix applications. The optical systems have been tailored to provide different dispersions over different wavelength ranges with the optimal resolution in the ultra violet region of 130 to 200 nanometers. Less resolution is required in the infrared region between 470 and 680 nanometers where only a few key emission line need to be resolved. Neither optical fibres, nor vacuum pumps are used in the PolySpek Neo and only the ultra violet optical section (if required) is argon purged.

The Charge Coupled Device (CCD) technology, enables a single, small, yet robust instrument to measure the whole spectrum necessary for the analysis of all the common metal bases.
In fact the most appropriate analytical or spectral ‘lines’ can be chosen by software rather than hardware such that MetalScan spectrometers are not limited in the number of elements that can be analysed. For example a typical conventional spectrometer incorporating Photo-Multiplier Tube (PMT) detectors might have about 30 analytical channels fixed by expensive hardware, while a CCD based unit would have access to over 1000 channels, all selectable by software. The CCD electronics can be used to search for line peaks and counteract any thermal or mechanical shifts, which are often the source of problems with conventional units. Over the last twenty years, the range of products offered by Nesara Instruments & Services and the performance levels available have both increased. The current PolySpek Neo with multi-optics and the PolySpek Junior series offer direct view argon flushed optics, no fibre optics are used. The instruments are controlled via integrated panel PCs with colour LCD touch screens or external, standard PCs.
