SOURCE INDIA was launched by ELCINA in 2009 to accelerate development of the Indian electronics supply chain. SOURCE INDIA has been successfully organised during 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 at Chennai with robust participation by electronic component manufacturers, EMS companies and equipment manufacturer from Telecom, Consumer Electronics, IT Segments as well as keen interest shown by players from Automotive, Medical and Industrial Electronics.

The Indian market for electronic equipment has been expanding rapidly with average growth for all segments in excess of 25% per annum.
