The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was started in the year 1987 with the idea of equipping young people with the necessary technical knowledge and professional skills needed to address the challenges in the rapidly growing field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and promoting research in this area. In the world of Smartphones, this department has a very significant role to play. Instigate an eye for detail inside the minds of youngsters and there is they come up with a lot of innovation in electronics. For this mission, the Department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories such as DSP, VLSI, Optical & Microwave, and RF/Communication.

Electronics & Communication Engineering Department is a dynamic and vibrant department with about 35 highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members. There are 4 professors,7 Associate Professors and 3 Assistant professors.
