Erythrocin 500mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. The majority of skin, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and respiratory tract infections can be treated with it. It prevents the bacteria from multiplying, thereby treating the infection and easing its symptoms.
Erythrocin 500mg Tablet is taken orally, preferably either one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. When consumed on an empty stomach, it is most easily absorbed. As directed by your doctor, it should be used consistently at regular intervals of time. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the entire course of treatment.
