Description:
Two-component solvent borne moisture curing Inorganic Ethyl Zinc silicate coating.
Recommended Use:
This primer gives the best protection from corrosion to abrasive blasted steel. It is recommended for exterior and interior of water and storage tanks (based on the material stored inside), structures, bullets, equipments of petrochemical complex, refineries, fertilizer units, power plants, steel plants, smelters, cement plants, paper and pulp plants, transportation industries, chemical plants, etc. Inorganic zinc silicate provides cathodic protection to steel and gives excellent corrosion resistance even in the most severe conditions, when used in a suitable system.
It is also recommended as a primer for high temperature areas (Max 400 Deg C). It can also be used as a primer for buried pipelines, tanks/boilers, structures, and for sea worthiness.
It is advisable to apply subsequent high build intermediate coats.
