When pipes and vessels are operating at lower than ambient temperatures, they are normally insulated for maximum plant efficiency. Moisture vapour may migrate through the insulation or its joints, condense at the dew point temperature, and freeze if the temperature reaches OO C.
Wet insulation can be up to 20 times less efficient than dry insulation, whilst freezing can cause physical break-up of the insulation structure because water expands on becoming ice. Hence requirement of Vapour Barrier becomes critical and Twiga Fiberglass Tissue improves handle ability and provides support to Insulation material.Features
Twiga Fiberglass Tissue have excellent bonding property with all kinds of mastics, sealants, adhesives, fire resistive coatings, anti Abrasion coatings, self setting cement etc. as used in thermal insulation.
Twiga lining mat completes the vapour barrier & makes it more efficient. Twiga lining mat also acts as a fire resistive and corrosion resistive protective coating and prevents failure of vapour barrier finish.
Twiga is the leading manufacturer of glass wool insulation in India, with a thirty five year track record of supplying domestic and export customers with world-class products for thermal and acoustic insulation. An ISO 9001, ISO 14001: 2004 + AC: 2009 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 certified company, Twiga commenced its operations in 1979 and is now a technology licensee of Isover Saint Gobain, the leading manufacturer of insulation worldwide.
With two manufacturing facilities located in Northern and Western India offering a total capacity of 16,000 tons per year, seven marketing and support offices in each of the major Indian metros and a national distribution network, Twiga's service and support is unmatched in the industry.
As a result of Twiga's commitment to quality and reliability, Twiga Insul has been selected for many of India's most prestigious projects, ranging from national landmarks and government buildings to high profile commercial complexes.Twiga Insul Overview
Twiga Insul is a lightweight, compressible insulation material, consisting of fine, long and inorganic glass fibers bonded together by a high temperature binder. The product is light gold in colour and its’ superior tensile strength, handle ability and resilience offer significant advantages during transport and installation. These unique characteristics of glass wool, combined with its fire safe properties, make it especially suitable for a wide variety of thermal and acoustic insulation applications, ranging from duct and metal roof insulation to applications in solar collectors and generators for acoustic enclosures.
Twiga Insul is available in rolls, slabs and boards, in various densities and thicknesses, with a wide range of factory applied facings. Our products are recommended for use in both hot and cold applications ranging in temperature from minus 195° to plus 450°C. Factory applied facings include reinforced aluminum foil, fiberglass tissue, black glass tissue and a wide range of imported premium facings which are all widely used in metal building applications.Fiberglass Tissue Overview
Fiberglass Tissue with a plant capacity of 1,200 MT per annum is the other product line.
Twiga Fiberglass Tissue is a non woven felt made of randomly oriented glass fiber distributed in a special binder by a wet lay process.
Our products are available with or without yarn reinforcement (standard reinforcement is at 10mm intervals), depending on the application and performance parameters required. Their high tensile strength, porosity and compatibility with anti corrosive chemicals offer significant performance benefits and advantages during application.
