The earliest literature on Ayurveda appeared during the vedic period in India. The Sushruta Samhita and the Charaka Samhita were influential works on traditional medicine during this era. Over the following centuries, ayurvedic practitioners have also identified a number of medicinal preparations and surgical procedures for curing various ailments and diseases.

Working on the ideology of their father, Mr. Satish Kumar Sharma and Mr. Ravi Kumar Sharma laid the foundation of Tansukh Herbals Pvt. Ltd. in the year 1995 in the developing city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
