The network-centric architecture provides announcement management of IED network appliances and comprehensive audio and visual messaging services. The unprecedented scalability of the 1000vACS allows it to be economically used in systems requiring only a few zones or in diverse systems requiring thousands of zones and control points. The Late Mr. Gianchand Chandulal Motwane founded the company in 1909 in Sind, from the modest beginning of a one-man established catering to the growing Electrical industry, under the name Eastern Electric Trading co. After opening its doors in Bombay on 1st April 1919 it changed focus to dealing in radio, Tel-Com & Loudspeakers under the name Chicago Telephone & Radio Company. Chicago Radio Public Address and Sound System were introduced in India for the first time in 1929 to enable the voice of our leaders to be heard by the masses during the freedom struggle.
Chicago Radio System were put to the rest test in 1931, at the momentous congress session at Karachi. Sardar Patel then the President of Congress asked Mr. Nanik Motwane to take personal charge of the loudspeaker arrangements.
The session was a huge success and the political leaders, the people and the press were full of praise one newspaper wrote, All Congress leaders who spoke from the rostrum, like Vallabhai Patel and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, were happy on the account of the loudspeakers reproducing every word of theirs in a magnificent form very clearly and without distortion". Chicago Radio has ever since established a tradition and reputation for unfailing service. It was in the year 1958 that the company, so recognized for its dedication to clear communication, had amalgamated into Motwane Private Limited.
