GUFICIN ALPHA Injection (1.6mg) THYMOSIN ALPHA 1

Guficin Alpha 1.6mg Injection is an anti-cancer drug belonging to the class of synthetic thymic peptides, containing the active ingredient Thymosin Alpha 1. This medication is used as an adjuvant therapy in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C. It is also used to treat acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS). This drug can also be used in the treatment of various types of cancer, as it can enhance the function of immune cells and promote tumour cell death. 

The safety of this drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unknown, and it is not recommended for use, so before planning for your pregnancy, please consult your doctor for more advice. This medicine may stimulate the immune system, which could exacerbate autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis. It should be used with caution in individuals with these conditions. This injection should not be used in individuals with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to the medication or any of its components. Report to your doctor if you experience any reactions, like itchy skin or rashes, while taking this medicine.  

This drug is not recommended to individuals who are at increased risk of infections, such as those with a weakened immune system or those who have had recent surgery or invasive procedures, and they should be closely monitored for signs of infection while taking thymosin alpha 1.  It is also important to note that this drug should not be used in immunocompromised patients or those with suppressed immunity, such as organ transplant patients, as it may increase the risk of infections.
