Kanumhara Ferro Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is a big importer and stockist of ferro alloys, minor metals, graphite electrode and other carbon products. We also trade in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our customer base includes high-tech steel makers and stainless steel manufacturers, foundaries, casting units and chemical industries of India. We are consignment agents of Tata Steel Ltd., sharing a long and well-established relation with them, and we have our depots and godowns established in various states of India, in order to serve our customers efficiently and effectively."
The business began as a partnership entity, S.K. Carbon Ltd., a trading company. Mr. N.S. Harlalka, the Director started the business by trading in ferro alloys and processing of graphite electrodes. Initially the processing was done in a third party's factory but later he opened a processing unit in Faridabad and shifted his base from Kolkata.
He started working on a commission basis and also joined the Mittals in Nippon Dendro Ispat as an authorised agent for selling galvanised sheets. Later he got an agency of Tata Steel for the region of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Tata Steel maintains regular stocks at our godowns. Their sales executives, in close coordination with Mr. Harlalka, book orders on a monthly basis.
In 2006, Mr. Harlalka established a new company in the name of Kanumhara Ferro Alloys Pvt. Ltd. and continued to deal in the same product range and also started import of rich minerals and ferro alloys/metals. He has over 25 years of experience and has been operating from Delhi, Haryana, Ghaziabad, Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Kolkata.
The policy of our firm is such that we are able to adjust to the change in the environment easily, by examining the market and conveying the needs and demand to Tata’s as well as our other suppliers.
Our employees are work driven and all of them are experienced and have been involved in the industry for quite sometime. They have always been a strategic part of the growth of the company and readily accept the changes of this industry.
