Homemade Millet Healthy Mix Powder, 250 g

Ingredients:

1. Ragi (finger millet) – 1 cup
2. Bajra (pearl millet) – 1 cup
3. Jowar (sorghum) – 1 cup
4. Whole wheat – 1 cup
5. Brown rice – 1 cup
6. Green gram (moong dal) – 1 cup
7. Chickpeas (chana dal) – 1 cup
8. Corn – 1 cup
9. Soya beans – 1 cup
10. Barley – 1 cup
11. Horse gram – 1 cup
12. Black gram (urad dal) – 1 cup
13. Almonds – 1/2 cup
14. Cashews – 1/2 cup
15. Cardamom – 10-12 pods (optional, for flavor)

Instructions:

1. Clean and Roast:
   • Clean all the grains, pulses, and nuts to remove any debris.
   • Dry roast each ingredient separately on a low flame until they emit a pleasant aroma and turn slightly golden. Ensure not to burn them.
2. Cool and Grind:
   • Allow the roasted ingredients to cool completely.
   • Grind them into a fine powder using a powerful mixer grinder or mill.
3. Mix and Store:
   • Mix all the ground powders thoroughly.
   • Store the Sathu Maavu mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Usage:

• Porridge: Mix 2 tablespoons of Sathu Maavu with water or milk, cook on low flame until it thickens, and sweeten with jaggery or honey.
• Dosa/Batter: Mix with water to make a batter and use it for dosas or pancakes.
