Number of coats: 2-3 coats Preparing the surfaces:
New or Bare Surfaces: New surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax. After rubbing down with abrasive paper, prime with an appropriate primer and dry overnight. Previously Painted Surface: Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective and poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax. Surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using the suitable abrasive paperand then dusted off. Fill all surface defects, crack with a suitable filler. When dry rub down to smooth and dust off. Painting: Apply 2-3 coats of Dulux Gloss Enamel and leave for 16 hours between coats. Cleaning: Clean all equipment with Mineral turpentine immediately after use Storing: Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures. Recycling: Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. May cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Dispose off any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate environment quality regulations Health and Safety: Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from sources of ignition as product is flammable. In case of fire use foam, dry powder, AFFF or CO2 fire extinguisher. Never use water. Work only in areas of good ventilation. When using inside, always keep doors and windows fully open during application and drying. The product can be irritating to eyes and skin. The product contains COBALT CARBOXYLATE which may cause an allergic reaction. When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water keeping eyelids apart and seek medical advice. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Wear gloves while working. In case of contact of the paint with skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Use suitable respiratory equipment while applying paint in narrow spaces. Dry sanding, flame cutting and or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used. In case of insufficient ventilation during spraying, wear suitable respiratory equipment such as a suitable cartridge mask provided the filter is changed regularly. All respiratory equipment must meet an appropriate approved standard. Do not breathe vapour or sanding dust. If inhalation causes physical discomfort, move to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs, move to fresh air and seek medical advice by showing container label. Harmful if swallowed; seek medical advice immediately. Care must be taken when transporting paint. Keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage when not in use. Store the product in a cool and dry place. In the event of an accident, collect spillage using sand or earth. Do not empty into drains or watercourses as the product is very toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
