In the final book of this trilogy written by Kalpana Subramanian, the siblings are thinking about homes large and small, long and tall. Animals live in all kinds of places – from bears in their cosy caves to rabbits in underground burrows. Even human homes are not all alike, although Anahi and Vir seem to agree that it’s the people who live inside a house who really make it a home. This colourfully illustrated and beautifully written book has a lightness of touch which makes it the perfect way to begin challenging discussions about what it means to be different, and what makes us the same.
Delightful watercolour illustrations by Prashant Miranda… The collection is thus a child’s journey as she absorbs the magic of creation – animal habitats, ocean life and birds — Saffron Tree

About the Company
Little Latitude is a project I started in 2010 with my wife Neha Vasant-Diddee. We both have a creative background. I am self taught apparel, accessories & home designer and my wife is a graduate in apparel design from NIFT Delhi who chose a career in photography working with The National Geographic Magazine as a photo-researcher as well as doing freelance photography with various magazines.
The origins of 'Little Latitude' stem from the time we had our first child and struggled to get her products that we would have liked to buy for her. So a journey began…we started by creating art for apparel but as ideas developed into stories, we decided to do illustrated books for children. Home décor and wooden toys followed books. We are currently developing a range of apparel, bed linen and stationery…
