It was the early Nineteen hundred and fifties when Shri Haribhai Damodar Makwana came to Mumbai from the small town of Morvi, Gujarat. While in Mumbai he was joined by his son Shri Purshottamdas Haribhai Makwana and together they setup their first shop in the year 1952 to serve traditional Gujarati snacks catering mainly to the local people at that time.
As time progressed through sheer dedication, hardwork and customer satisfaction being the sole aim, the humble beginnings through the ardent support of strong and loyal clientele grew into a network of four branches serving customers across the length and breadth of Mumbai city.
Today the product offerings have increased manifold, to cater to the cosmopolitan demographics of the city by introducing Sweets (Mithai’s) & Savouries (Namkeens) from different cultures of India. So whichever festival or occassion you have to celebrate, at Kandoi Haribhai Damodar Mithaiwala, you are sure to find from amongst our products something to add that extra ‘bite’ of happiness to your celebrations.
