He did his graduation in architecture (B. Arch.) from N.I.T. Patna in 1999. Amit kumar started his career with Ravi Kapoor as an asst. architect for 2 years. He had been appointed as a faculty in architectural department of N.I.T. Patna in 2002-2005. Also a visiting faculty of interior designer in N.I.F.D. Patna.
