Uses:

• Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Reduces redness, swelling, and discharge caused by bacterial infections.
• Corneal Ulcers: Assists in healing ulcers on the cornea due to bacterial invasion.
• Preventive Care: Prevents infections after eye injuries or surgeries.

Dosage & Administration:

• Typical Dosage: 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2-3 hours initially, then reduce frequency as infection improves.
• Administration:
  • Wash hands thoroughly before use.
  • Tilt head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
  • Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze out the prescribed number of drops.
  • Close the eye gently and press the inner corner to prevent drainage.
  • Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to maintain sterility.

Side Effects:

• Common: Mild stinging or burning sensation upon application.
• Less Common: Itching, redness, or swelling of the eye or eyelid.
