From 1972 till 1989, I have worked in 8 different comapnies. For last 3 companies from 1981 to 1989, I was All India Sales & Marketing Manager. I have set up these companies almost from zero level, and taken them to national level by creating distribution network, opening zonal offices, advertising etc.
Beforehand, I was Regional Manager for 3 different companies.
In employment, I have handled chemicals. magazines, dry battery cells, steel, Fuji colour film, camera, paper, equipments, machinery, OTC products like pain balm, different food products etc.
I was in the field of Sales Training for 2 years with Indian office of Tack Training of London. I have given Sales Training from salesmans level to GM/VPs level in each industrial city of India for all types of industries.
For each company I worked for, I have travelled very widely in India for selling, product launching, appointing distributors, retailing, selling to original equipment manufacturers etc. I have also looked after advertisement designing, sales promotion, market research etc.
This amply shows grassroots experience for all types of products at all the levels.
This helped immensely when I started marketing consultancy in 1989. As a connsultant also, I have handled all types of products like :
