Mebaus 135 tab, Strips, 1*10 Tablets

Mebause 135 mg Tablet is a class of medicines called 'antispasmodic' (spasm and cramps reliever) agent primarily used to treat inflammatory bowel syndrome (IBS), stomach pain due to spasms, cramps, and bloating. Inflammatory bowel syndrome is an umbrella term describing complications that involve chronic inflammation of your digestive tract. Besides this, abdominal spasms are acute condition in which the abdominal muscles (abs), intestine, and stomach contract severely.

Mebause 135 mg Tablet contains ‘Mebeverine' that works by blocking calcium channels and muscarinic receptors on the smooth muscle, which cause muscle contraction and pain sensation, thereby stopping sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and reducing abdominal pain caused due by spasms, cramps, and gas formation, bloating, and discomfort.

You are advised to take Mebause 135 mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. In some cases, you may experience skin rash. Most of the side effects of Mebause 135 mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor. Please inform your doctor immediately if you experience difficulty in breathing, or swelling of the face, neck, lips, tongue, or throat.

If you are known to be allergic to Mebause 135 mg Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Mebause 135 mg Tablet . Mebause 135 mg Tablet is not recommended for children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have porphyria (an enzyme deficiency in blood), heart, kidney, or liver problems, and severe constipation.  This medicine contains lactose and sucrose, so inform your doctor if you have an intolerance to any sugars. Let your doctor know if you use any prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking, including vitamins, before starting Mebause 135 mg Tablet .
