Mechanical Engineering Course

Department of Mechanical Engineering at Silver Oak College of Engineering & Technology has been started since the academic year 2009. This is the largest departments having total intake of 480 students at UG level & 24 at PG (I/C & Auto) level. The department has total 46 faculty members having masters in various fields of mechanical engineering like CAD/CAM, thermal, design, production, metallurgy, etc. This department consists of various well equipped and functioning laboratories like Workshop, Engineering Graphics lab, Elements of Mechanical Engineering lab, Manufacturing labs, Fluid Power Engineering lab & Fluid Mechanics lab, Mechanical Measurement lab and Material Science lab, Theory of machines and Dynamics of machines lab, Heat and Mass Transfer lab, I/C & Automobile Engineering lab. There are various Industrial Interface Program, Industrial Visits, Seminars, Workshops and FDPs held at the department on regular basis. Students are working on many industrial and user defined projects in which the highly qualified faculty members participate actively and simultaneously motivate them for pattern registration.
