Dr. Ayyappan is a highly qualified,experienced and Board Certified Plastic surgeon practicing in Ahmedabad since the last 20 years. After acquiring the MBBS degree from prestigious Madras University with “Gold Medal in Clinical Surgery” in 1988,he was selected to pursue residency through ALL INDIA MERIT for Masters degree in Surgery in 1992, thereafter he underwent Senior residency for 3 years in Plastic Surgery wherein he stood University first in merit in Gujarat University exams. He showed his proficiency in Plastic Surgery by successfully qualifying in First attempt National Board Exams for the award of “Diplomate in Plastic Surgery” in 1995. He was further selected on Merit for the award of Member National Academy of Medical Sciences (Plastic Surgery) .He has been a dedicated teacher and has trained many surgeons in Surgery and Plastic surgery as a faculty(Associate Professor) with B.J. Medical College and Civil hospital for nearly two decades .
