Each pen contains four fixed doses of the specified strength, meaning a 12.5mg pen holds a total of 50mg of tirzepatide (4 doses x 12.5mg), 0.6 ml each. Patients inject one dose per week, so each pen is designed to last for one month. This convenient dosing schedule helps maintain steady blood levels and simplifies treatment.
