Day 1: Arrive Kochi - Munnar
On your First day, your personal tour host will welcome you at the airport and Transfer to Munnar. Check in to your resort & spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the convergence of 3 mountain stream- Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kudale, Munnar is 1600 meter above sea level. You can go on a spice plantation tour today which is a huge draw for travelers from all over the world. A walk through them opens up a vista of pristine greenery shrouded by low hanging clouds, gurgling brooks and a pale shadow of the Western Ghats in the backdrop. You will be taken on tour of the cover, cardamom, pepper, rubber, vanilla, coffee and tea plantations. Overnight stay at Thekkady Day 3: Thekkady Today you can go for an escorted jungle trek. In the evening you can also visit Kalaripyattu centre in Periyar. Overnight stay at Thekkady Day 4: Thekkady – Kettuvalam (House Boat) After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey to embark on your private houseboat and cruise on the Backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. Your houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are luxurious boats with well-appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it’s the life along the coast that adds a touch of exotica to this experience.The locals’ travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats.
