Although he started his career as a maintenance engineer in Surya Roshni Ltd. his entrepreneurial spirit continued to burn. When he finally started Dee Dee Techno Systems Pvt. Ltd. he was among the first ones drive the industry into the organized sector.Electrical switchgear of ABB was Dee Dee Techno Systems' first dealership. Back then Sharma worked out of a rented space in East Delhi, but in the past decade and half Dee Dee Techno Systems has not only acquired its own offices but is also a respected channel partner of Legrand, Ecko cables, L&T, HPL, Salzer and Swadeshi.
Initially it only dealt with Orignal Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) but overtime has diversified its portfolio by obtained clients in Hospitality, FMCG, Infrastructure and many more industries; some of its clients are Asian Paints, Mother Dairy and Dabur.
