The healing powers of the 5000-year old Science of Ayurveda have stood the test of time and continue to provide relief in a wide spectrum of ailments. Today, as the medicinal properties of Ayurvedic formulations have begun to gain acceptance globally, it becomes necessary to welcome technological advances in our manufacturing facilities. Recognizing this need, we began working on Ayurvedic Ghanas in 1983. A Shloka in Ayurveda says,
               Alpamatram mahaaveeryam gandha varna rasaanvitam... praahu paramaushadham ||                                                                  

which means, a medicine that

• Provides maximum therapeutic effect in a small dose, and
• Retains the organoleptic properties of Gandha (smell), Varna (colour) and Rasa (taste)

becomes the medicine most beneficial to the patient. We have been working towards this goal for the past 34 years. We manufacture Ghanas (extracts) following the concept of Pancha Kashaya Kalpana, using modern pharmaceutical equipments with digital controls. The research conducted in the field of pharmacy has made available a host of new equipments to manufacture pharmaceuticals. Bearing this in mind, the formulation section was started in 2002 to bring the benefits of modern pharmaceutical manufacturing to traditional Ayurvedic formulations.
We strive to make traditional Ayurvedic formulations available to the patient in the form of tablets, which have the following salient features:

• Prepared using our Ghanas, tablets retain the Gandha, Varna, Rasa of the parent herb
• Smaller tablet size and dose requirement
• Faster absorption, leading to faster results
• Enhanced shelf life

Over the years, we have maintained the quality of our products by ensuring the standards of our raw materials and manufacturing processes, aided by on-going experimentation and modernization. The products are manufactured at our Maharashtra FDA approvedpremises at Vevji, Talasari, under stringent Quality Control guidelines. Our current product portfolio consists of 144 Ghanas of Single Drugs and Ayurvedic Siddha Pathas, along with44 formulations, comprising of Ekeri Ghanavati (Single drug tablets), Granthokta Patha tablets, proprietary combination tablets and hair and massage oils.
